There have been reported issues with the Schlage Touchscreen Deadbolt BE 469 that has the firmware version less than 5.7 as they will lock their keypad and you couldn't operate it anymore unless you disconnected the batteries.

There have been reported compatibility issues with the Schlage Touchscreen Deadbolt BE 469 and MiCasaVerde controllers. This has been corrected in lock firmware version 5.7 and higher. With lock firmware version 5.6 and earlier, the lock may become unresponsive until batteries are disconnected.<br>
  
 
The firmware version can be checked on the stickers from the back of the door-lock and if you have a door-lock with that firmware installed it is recommended to contact Schlage for a replacement.<br>
