Vera strongly supports the open source movement.  Vera is based on Linux and couldn't happen without the contributions of the open source community.  All changes to GPL and LGPL are naturally published in compliance with those licenses.  When possible, Mi Casa Verde also releases its own code as open source, however, many of the software modules in Vera contain code that was commercially licensed and, thus, cannot be open sourced.
