* To send AT commands to a 3G dongle on Vera, you can connect tot the dongle using <code>microcom</code>:
<code>microcom /dev/ttyUSB0</code>

Then enter:

<code>AT+GMM</code>

The dongle should respond with the model, followed by <code>OK</code>:

<code>MF110

OK</code>

To exit <code>microcom</code>, press Ctrl+X.
